It’s 2009. Every business needs a corporate blog to accompany their corporate website, and every individual needs a personal blog to share their thoughts - or portfolio - with the world. Wordpress is the de facto blogging standard, hell Wordpress is so ubiquitous it is becoming a CMS

iPhone 3.0 Beta OS Walkthrough Video
The biggest point to get out of this video is that the copy part of copy and paste works fine, but the paste part is tricky. It's not incredibly clear (right now, in the beta) where you should double tap to enable it. It seems like you need to be doing this inside existing text. The phone refused to paste into a blank spot below actual text.

  Platform War
There is a great post in Lifehacker comparing the two iPhone and Android. I my opinion, and the opinion of the person who wrote the post Android is a superior platform, compared to iPhone 2.2.1. But iPhone 3.0 upgrade evens up the race even with the "Cupcake" update of Android. My bases for the putting Android ahead of the iPhone was, and still is, its openness. It is no secert the the iPhone is a totalitarianism at its best, but for a good reason. To make sure the system works. I can remember on my treo downloading programs and they are not working or crashing the phone. The chases of an app crashing the phone is small, unless it is not downloaded correctly. While Adroit is the wild west. Anything goes for a developer with a great app. On the flip side, that means a lot of crappy software, which really true in the iPhone app store, but the Android platform lacks is money. Not money behind it, but making money from it. Android just open its app store and it has promising apps. On the other hand, Apple's App store is the new gold rush for developer. So, for right now, Apple has all the majority of develops on there side, but a totalitarianism regime can sustain itself for long.

  Goodbye Google
"Without a person at (or near) the helm who thoroughly understands the principles and elements of Design, a company eventually runs out of reasons for design decisions."Finally we get the lowdown on why design at Google has failed so miserably over the years. A designer at Google is rare indeed, since Google's design is crap. But is design really important Google, Myspace, and Facebook's ever changing profile page are not good examples of great design. But lets hear from from a designer from a place where design is not that important.
